I'll leave when the wind blows

Been doing a lot of shopping lately - prolly too much. But now I'm definitely ready for spring! :)

I've been feeling somewhat inspired recently, so today I finally got around to styling a vintage dress that I got last summer. It's a deep navy blue with white daisies all over it, very loose fitting and 70's summer dress feeling to me. It's still a little chilly, so I threw an ivory cardigan over it and belted it with a wide brown belt and added some white tights to cover my legs. Morgan talked me into buying a pair of wooden wedges last night at Vanity (damn her), and this outfit seemed pretty perfect for them. Brent didn't think the dress would work for today - he said it feels a little too "picnic-y" and the sky is very much a steely gray, but after my additions, he definitely digs it.

I really, really wish I had somewhere better to take pictures. And someone to do it for me. Morgan lives too far away :(

Brent is taking me to the Mayan and to see Rango tonight - yay!
