floral afternoons

It was an absolutely beautiful day, so I took Annie to Liberty Park this afternoon. It was her first time at a park, and she went nuts. There were tons of people there, and lots of other dogs. We walked around for nearly two hours and she made lots of new friends. She is now desperately in need of a bath, but at least she's not bouncing off the walls.

Got this skirt at Vanity the other night, at the same time as the wedges. The wedges were surprisingly comfortable for an afternoon of wandering the park. There was a drum circle, as well as a few little jewelry stands, where I purchased this lovely leather bracelet with wooden beads & peace sign. They do a farmers' market there every Saturday morning in the spring and summer - I'll have to check when it starts. I'd love to go.

Have I mentioned how difficult it is to take my own pictures for outfit posts? There was a sweet guy who volunteered to take the one of me and Annie, but I really need someone to go with me on these impromptu photo shoots. Morgan lives too far away, and Brent... Well, we won't go there :)

Back to school tomorrow. *sigh* Once more, unto the breach dear friends...
