check out the outfit posts:
day 1: my gypsy soul to take
day 2: double the bliss
day 3: time wasted
day 4: goodbye to my weakness
I had planned on posting this on Saturday (and this morning's post on Friday), but technical issues (my laptop power cord died) inhibited internet access for the last half of last week, so I'm still catching up on all things blog relevant. Last week was a great start to my style experiment for May. I'm actually pretty impressed with my results Monday-Thursday; I managed to wear different outfits every day that were not just recycled versions of things I've already worn. I was lazy Friday (shhh...) but overall I am definitely not disappointed with my week one results. The real challenge is going to be keeping it going through weeks two and three, though I'm working on some projects that will hopefully keep me inspired and help me to take a fresh look at my wardrobe.
Does anyone else ever set themselves a style challenge like this? Or am I just a nutter butter?

P.S. Fellow fashionistas, style geeks and fashion nerds should take a moment to drop by Fashbo, a swanky new personal style sharing community where members can upload looks and share their vision with like minded individuals. One of the things that sets Fashbo apart from other fashion communities is the Fashbo Binder - the electronic version of a mood board or inspiration binder. When you see a look or photo that you like, just click the button to add it to your binder and you'll have easy access to it for future inspiration. Fashbo also encourages constructive, positive commentary on images and happily promotes active, talented members. Get started now by setting up a profile and posting some outfits, then pop on by my page (username: fashion_nerd) to view (and vote) my looks!
